This is a very sharp fossil shark tooth. It is a large Hemipristis serra tooth from Venice, Florida. This type of shark is called the ''Snaggletooth Shark'', for obvious reasons. This tooth is large and is very solid and substantial. The enamel is beautifully preserved and has great natural coloration. Both sides of the tooth display well, and the serrations and tip are very easily seen. This is a very nice fossil Hemipristis tooth from Venice Beach.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
