This is a fantastic specimen of a Quercus sp. (Pin Oak) leaf from the Miocene of Oregon. The leaf exhibits extremely nice overall shape and fine detail. The strongly dentate margins are well defined. The venation of the leaf is outstanding. The fossil has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the large, natural block of matrix. This is a very collectible specimen of a classic fossil Oak leaf from the Miocene.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
