This is an excellent example of a hard-to-find shark tooth. It is a fabulous Hemipristus serra tooth from Venice, Florida. This type of shark is called the ''Snaggletooth Shark'', for obvious reasons. This specimen is huge for this type. The tooth displays beautifully and has a very nice tip and serrations. The natural coloration is also quite striking. This is an extremely impressive example of this uncommon shark tooth from Florida.
