This is a top quality dinosaur tooth. It is a large tooth from Camarasaurus grandis, a large, herbiverous dinosaur from the Jurassic of Wyoming. This type of dinosaur is a sauropod, one of the ''long-necked dinosaus''. This tooth was recently acquired from a major dinosaur collection. The tooth is phenominal, being almost fully complete! The tooth has beautiful natural color and exhibits extremely fine detail. The enamel is beautifully preserved - the texture of the tiny corrigations is very easily seen! The tip of the tooth is also nicely intact. And there is no repair or restoration to this fabulous fossil. This is a fantastic, museum quality tooth from this little-known Jurassic dinosaur.
