Here is a very nice crinoid and blastoid association specimen from the Mississippian of Missouri. The crinoid is Uperocrinus aequibrachiatus. This distinct crinoid exhibits very fine plate structure. The rare blastoid is Schizoblastus sayi. The ambulacra are well displayed, and the spiracles are evident. Both specimens are very 3-dimensional. The white color of the fossils contrasts nicely with the natural orangish-brown matrix. There are many other crinoid fragments on the block of limestone. This is an interesting echinoderm specimen from the Upper Burlington Formation.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
