Here is a beautiful fossil shark tooth. This is a fabulous Otodus obliquus tooth from the Eocene of Morocco. This exceptional tooth is very large - almost three inches long! The root of the tooth is extremely robust and nicely formed. The tooth has its shiny, colorful enamel well preserved. Both of the small cusps on the side of the tooth are intact. Both sides of the large tooth are quite distinct and wonderfully displayed. This is an excellent example of an Extinct Mackerel shark tooth.
