This these textbook leaves are very well preserved and finely detailed - the distinct venation and serrated borders are easily seen. The form of the leaves are nicely intact, and LONG petioles are even preserved. The leaves has great natural color and display beautifully on the yellow-tan matrix that also contains a Taxodium dubium frond. This is a fabulous double example of these extremely hard-to-find Maple leaves from this very obscure location.
