This is a rare fossil shark tooth. It is a large Hexanchus tooth from Chile. The type of shark this tooth came from is called a Cow Shark. This specimen is very large and has beautiful natural coloration. The tooth is still embedded in a large chunk of natural matrix. This is an excellent example of this very uncommon Cow Shark tooth from Chile.
