This is a fabulous Great White Shark tooth. This specimen is from the Modern Great White Shark, Carcharodon carcharias. This is the infamous shark that terrorizes swimmers every year, and is immortalized in the movie, ''Jaws''. This tooth is an upper, having the classic triangular shape. The serrations and tip are razor-sharp and extremely impressive. The root is also intact. This is a terrific example of a large Modern Great White Shark tooth.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
