Here is a gorgeous slice of petrified wood. This is unusual fossilized wood from Argentina. This is a complete cross-section of the trunk or large limb of this fossil tree. The bark on the edges of the slab is clearly defined. This slice has been highly polished to reveal the fine detail and wonderful coloration of the fossil wood. The completeness of the slice along with the unusual location make this a highly collectible specimen of petrified wood.

Note: Argentina has now banned the export of all fossils. We will strictly abide by and enforce this law - we will not acquire new fossils from Argentina. However, this fossil was collected and exported prior to this law, and can be sold legally.
