This is an excellent carniverous dinosaur tooth. It is a beautiful Daspletosaurus torosus tooth from the Two Medicine Formation of Montana. This specimen was recently acquired from a major dinosaur collection. Daspletosaurus was a very large theropod dinosaur from the Cretaceous Period. This tooth has excellent detail and beautiful, natural black color on the enamel. The tip is intact (beautifu smalll, natural wear facet), and the serrations are razor-sharp. This is a top quality specimen of a beautiful, large Tyrannosaurid dinosaur tooth.
