This is a fabulous fossil from an unusual locality. It is a very large Carcharocles megalodon shark tooth from ''Shark Tooth Hill'' near Bakersfield, California. This specimen was found in the 1960's, and has just recently been acquired from a major fossil collection. The tooth is an Upper Lateral tooth, very unusual from this locality. The tooth has fantastic natural wrinkles, very nice serrations and GREAT color. This is a very collectible Carcharocles megalodon shark tooth from a classic West Coast locality.
