This is a very nice specimen of Hydriocrinus turbinatus from the Pennsylvanian of Oklahoma. This crinoid is quite 3-dimensional and fully free of matrix. The arms are intact to the very tips and display the branching structure beautifully. The large plates of the cup are easily seen, and the entire crinoid displays very fine detail. This is a great example of a rare Pennsylvanian crinoid from Oklahoma.
