Extremely Rare Illaenus Multiple - NINE Trilobites!

Name: Illaenus sp.
Age:  Ordovician
Formation:  Ktaoua Formation
Location:  Morocco
Size: Plate is 6.7 inches tall
Price: SOLD

Specimen SS1008

Here is an extremely rare multiple specimen of the rare Illaenus sp.(?) from the Ordovician of Morocco. This trilobite plate was meticulously prepared in the EXTINCTIONS prep lab in Colorado, as are all of our Moroccan trilobites. These trilobites are complete and nicely articulated. This bugs are wonderfully outstretched and very inflated. The trilobites are preserved with black shell intact - this is the only nine-trilobite plate of this type we have ever seen. This is an extremely collectible multiple example of this ultra-rare Illaenus-type from Morocco.
