This is an extremely detailed fossil coral. It is a huge Neozaphrentis sp. coral from Tulsa County, Oklahoma. This type is a solitary, or ''horn'', coral, and very large for this type. The coral has been cut in half longways and expertly polished to reveal the intricate internal structure. This matched pair simply displays beautifully. This is an excellent cross-sectioned horn coral showcasing its very detailed internal structure.
