This is a beautiful fossil shark tooth. It is a large Carcharocles megalodon (Extinct Giant White Shark) tooth from the Atacama Desert of Chile. This specimen is large and impressive - five and a half inches long! The tooth is wonderfully preserved and displays beautifully. The fossil is extremely robust and finely detailed. The beautiful enamel is practically flawless, and the serrations are intact and razor sharp. Not only is this a very large, colorful fossil shark tooth, it is from a very exotic location. This is a fabulous Chilean Meg tooth that displays beautifully on both sides.
