Fabulous Example of a Very Rare Coosella Trilobite

Name: Coosella sp.
Age:  Upper Cambrian
Formation:  Weeks Formation
Location:  Millard County, Utah
Size: Trilobite is 1.2 inches long
Price: SOLD

Specimen SSS904

This is a beautiful US trilobite. It is an extremely rare Coosella sp. from the Upper Cambrian of Utah. This specimen is not only complete, it is stunning. The free cheeks are intact and tight, and the body segments and fan-like tail are wonderfully articulated. The thick shell exoskeleton is finely detailed and exquisitely preserved - the outline of the hypostoma (mouthplate) is even preserved and easily seen. The rich, black bug contrasts beautifully with the natural red matrix. This is a top quality example of this very sought-after trilobite from Utah.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally. A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
