Two Huge Keichousaurs -Very Rare Natural Double

Name: Keichousaurus hui

Age:  Triassic

This is an extremely rare vertebrate fossil plate from the Triassic of China. There are TWO excellent examples of Keichousaurus hui on the slab. These interesting, dinosaur-like reptiles are well articulated and exhibit great detail. The heads, long necks, bodies, and lengthy tails are all beautifully displayed. The limbs of the reptiles are exhibited in a slightly ''splayed'' position, and even the tiny digits are quite evident. And, best of all, the Keichousaurs are actually overlapping - natural doubles are very rare in the fossil record, and these are preserved so close together that they even cross! The fossils have nice color and contrast and are wonderfully presented on the very large, squared plate of shale (14" tall). This is an extremely exciting multiple specimen of Keichousaurus that is also extremely displayable.
