This is a very nice crinoid/blastoid association piece from the Burlington Formation of Missouri. The large crinoid is a very fine specimen of Uperocrinus longirostrus. The crinoid is wonderfully inflated and displays great plate structure. The blastoids are inflated specimens of Cryptoblastus melo. The ambulacra are quite evident, and the paired spiracles are nicely displayed. All of these fossils are white in color and contrast well with the orangish-brown matrix. There are also some other assorted crinoid fragments on the piece. This is a very displayable triple echinoderm specimen from Missouri.
