This is a rare Lebanese fossil. It is a complete baby Shark from the quarries near Hajoula. Lebanese fossils like this are hard to acquire due to political unrest in the area. This shark has very nice color and detail - the vertebral column is very easily seen, and the head is nicely detailed. The shark is well centered on the rectangular matrix plate. This is an extremely collectible fossil - very few collectors have a whole fossil shark in their collection!
