This is a very unusual plant from a very unusual locality. It is a large Taxodium sp. (Bald Cypress) branch from Washington State. This branch is very well preserved and finely detailed - the individual leaves are very distinct. The shape of the leaves on the branch is nicely intact, complete down to the attachment point. The leaves have great natural color and display beautifully on the light-colored matrix. This is an exremely hard-to-find Bald Cypress branch from this very obscure location.
