Here is a gorgeous fossil shark tooth. This is a beautiful Otodus obliquus tooth from the Eocene of Morocco. This tooth is huge - well over three inches long! The root of the tooth is extremely robust and fully intact. The tooth has great enamel and the tip of the tooth is quite sharp. Both of the small cusps on the side of the tooth are preserved. Both sides of the large tooth are well preserved and wonderfully displayed. This is an exceptional example of an Extinct Mackerel shark tooth.
