This is one of the more unusual fossil plants that we have seen from the Santana Formation of Brazil. This plant has great detail - its unique scale pattern is still intact. The plant has wonderful natural color and striking contrast. The central stem exhibits many short branches. The plant is well centered on oval plate of matrix. This is an excellent display specimen of this uncommon Cretaceous plant.
