This is an unusual fossil shark tooth. It is a pathological Otodus obliquus tooth from the Eocene of Morocco. The central blade of the tooth has is split, and both sections are fully separate, giving the tooth two pointed tips. This unique feature is a very rare occurrence in the fossil record. And the fact that both blades are of equal length and very symmetrical is extremely rare. This is a highly collectible shark tooth that is distinctly pathological.
