This is an excellent display fossil. It is a block of fossiliferous matrix from the Lee Creek Mine in Aurora, North Carolina. Many shark teeth have been embedded in this matrix block for optimal display - Megalodon teeth, Mako teeth, a cow shark tooth - six shark teeth in all! There is also a Stingray crusher plate and other unusual fossils attached to the rock. This is an extremely displayable chunk of the Yorktown Formation with many Aurora shark teeth represented.
