This is a very aesthetic specimen of Ordovician gastropods. There are five examples of Cyclonema bilix composited on this plate. These fossil snails are extremely 3-dimensional and exhibit great detail. The fine ornamentation of the squat, ''wide-bodied'' gastropods is easily seen. The fossils have wonderful color and contrast and are beautifully presented on the natural plate of shale. This is an attractive specimen of Ordovician gastropods from Ohio.
