This crinoid is from a relatively unusual site in Morocco. It is a large Cupressocrinites abbreviatus from the Devonian crinoid outcrops. This particular genus is more well known from Germany, but the Moroccan examples are just as impressive. The crinoid has wonderful natural color and excellent contrast. The fossil is extremely inflated and displays beautifully on the grey block of limestone. The crinoid has a long section of stem preserved, which is highly unusual. This is a great example of a Cupressocrinites crinoid from Morocco.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
