This is a very displayable fossil. It is a Keichousaurus hui from the Triassic of China. This dinosaur-like reptile is well preserved and exhibits great detail. The head, long neck, body, limbs, and lengthy tail are all present. The limbs are beautifully displayed in a splayed position, and almost all of the tiny digits of the feet are present (rare). Many sharply-pointed teeth are visible in the skull, and the black bones are quite 3-dimensional. The Keichousaur has great color and contrast and is almost perfectly centered on the rectangular plate of shale. This is an excellent example of this dinosaur-like reptile from the Triassic.
