This is a beautiful Carcharocles megalodon tooth from the Atacama Desert region of Chile. The tooth has a very solid and substantial root. The serrations are easily seen and the very tip of the tooth is nicely intact. The enamel is beautifully preserved and has great natural coloration. This is a very attractive and displayable ''Meg'' tooth from this unusual South American location.
