This is an excellent trace fossil. It is a large (over seven inches) Anchisauripus exertus track from the Jurassic of Massachusetts. This robust positive specimen has wonderful relief, and the detail of the pads and claw impressions are easily seen. This is a very deep track - the impression of the track is even easily seen on the reverse side of the plate! The track has been darkened for contrast and is beautifully presented on the thin plate of matrix. This is a great dinosaur track for the true dinosaur collector, or as a unique display for home or office.
