This is one of the most displayable fossils you could ever hope to own. It is a set of shark jaws from the extinct Giant White Shark, Carcharocles megalodon that measures SIX FEET WIDE!. These jaws are full of REAL fossil shark teeth, and were constructed by Dr. Clifford Jeremiah, renowned for his knowledge of fossil shark dentary structure. The jaws themselves were made of fiberglass resin - extreme care was taken to reproduce the actual shape of the jaws. Dr. Jeremiah then painstakingly chose 180 fully serrated teeth that would most closely match the actual positioning of the teeth in the mouth of the ancient shark. There are FOUR complete rows of teeth in the upper jaw, and four complete rows of teeth in the lower. Many of the teeth are over four inches long - there are even three teeth that measure 4 3/4 inches! And these teeth were found in FLORIDA, which is a rarity - there have been MANY more Megalodon teeth found in South Carolina than in Florida.
The overwhelming size of this jaw can only be appreciated when standing next to it. This unique display specimen is perfect for a museum, aquarium, shopping mall, theme store, or even your living room! At the ridiculously low price of under $10,000, this works out to less than $55 per tooth, not counting the cost of the fiberglass jaw and what Dr. Jeremiah was paid to pick, sort, assemble, and implant the 180 teeth.
