This is a pristine fossil tooth. It is a Carcharocles megalodon shark tooth from Maryland. Megalodon teeth from Maryland are extremely collectible and hard to obtain. This specimen came from a collection, and was found many years ago. This immaculate tooth has beautiful blond coloration, fully natural. The serrations and tip are nearly perfect and razor-sharp, and the root is wide and solid. The overall preservation of this tooth is museum quality. This is an excellent example of a classic fossil shark tooth from Maryland.
