This is an extremely interesting vertebrate fossil plate from the Triassic of China. On the left side of the slab is a fine example of Keichousaurus hui. This dinosaur-like reptile is well articulated and exhibits great detail. The head, long neck, body, and lengthy tail are all beautifully displayed. The limbs of the reptile are exhibited in a ''splayed'' position, and even the tiny digits are quite evident. Many of the small pointed teeth can still be seen in the skull of the beast. A very unusual ''ghost image'' of another Keichousaurus is present on the right side of the plate. Although this Keich doesn't have great detail, its imprint is clearly defined. The fossils have nice color and contrast and are wonderfully presented on the somewhat rectangular plate. Both fossils are natural to the slab - they have not been composited. This is an extremely rare multiple specimen of Keichousaurus that is also very displayable.
