This is a unique specimen of Leguminosites lesquereuxiana from the Green River Formation. One complete leaf and two partial leaves are displayed on the plate. It is unusual in that the leaves are still attached to the branch by short petioles. This is a very rare occurrence. The complete leaf exhibits the emarginate tip typical of the species. The fossil has excellent color and contrast. It is well presented on a somewhat square plate of matrix. This is a very interesting specimen of Leguminosites from the Eocene of Utah.
