This is a wonderful trace fossil. This is a fossil bird trackway from the Green River Formation. There are three very distinct tracks on the plate. These tracks were possibly made by a sandpiper-type bird. The tracks are well centered on the natural plate of matrix. This is an excellent trackway of a fossil bird from the Eocene of Utah.
