This is a very unusual plate of plant fossils from an unusual location. This is a specimen of Onychiopars elongata from the Jurassic of Japan. This specimen was recently obtained from an old collection. The specimen is very detailed. The venation is quite evident. On the reverse side of the slab is another type of plant. There are several fronds of Podozamites reinii present. This is a very strange slab of plant fossils from the time of the dinosaurs.
