This is a very detailed pair of crinoids from China. These are Traumatocrinus hsuixi from the Triassic. There are very few locations in the world where Triassic crinoids are found. There are two complete crinoid crowns on the plate. One crinoid has a long stem - 21 inches of stem, to be exact! The other crinoid has a short stem still attached. The crinoids are very 3-D and contrast well on the brown-black matrix block. They both have very fine detail preserved. This is a great example of this long-stemmed crinoid from China.
