Here is an interesting plate of brachiopods from the Devonian of Oklahoma. There are three examples of Orthostrophia strophomemoides on the slab. The 3-dimensional brachiopods have both valves intact and exhibit fine detail. The coarse plications and fine growth lines of the brachiopods are easily seen. The fossils have very good color and contrast and are well presented on the natural block of matrix. This is a nice multiple brachiopod specimen from the Haragan Formation.
