This is a very artistic presentation of fossil fish from the Eocene of Wyoming. The fish on the left is a large specimen of Knightia humilis. The fish on the right is Diplomystus dentatus. Both fish exhibit wonderful detail. The bone structure is superb. The fins are prominently displayed. The eye sockets are easily seen. The Knightia even preserves the scale pattern. The fossil fish have great natural color and contrast. This is a very nice double specimen of fossil fish from the Green River Formation.
