This is an unusual vertebrate fossil. It is a baby Cave Bear jaw from the Ural Mountains of Russia. This jaw is unusual in the fact that the canine tooth and wisdom tooth are not fully erupted. The jawbone and secondary teeth are beautifully preserved. This is a great Ice Age fossil from a young Cave Bear.
