This is a wonderful trace fossil. It is a fossil bird trackway from the Green River Formation. There are two very distinct, complete tracks along with several partial tracks on the plate. These tracks were possibly made by a sandpiper-type bird. The tracks are well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is an excellent trackway of a fossil bird from the Eocene of Utah.
