This is a beautiful fossil plant. It is a complete leafing branch from Brazil. This specimen is from the Cretaceous and was contemporary with dinosaurs. The fossil is very complete and nicely detailed. The palmate venation of the leaves is displayed. The fossil has fabulous orange color (some enhancement) and contrasts nicely with the lighter colored matrix. It is well centered on the natural matrix plate. This is a very unusual fossil plant from Brazil.
