This is a very aesthetic specimen of Cupulocrinus jewetti from the Ordovician of Canada. The crinoid exhibits exquisite detail. The large, bulbous, plates of the cup are easily seen. The multi-branching, uniserial arms are nicely splayed, making for a beautiful display. The cream-colored crinoid contrasts wonderfully with the gray matrix. A long crinoid stem and a specimen of bryozoa are also presnt on the matrix plate. This is a very pretty crinoid specimen from Ontario.
