This is a very nice specimen of Quercus sp. from the Miocene of Oregon. The leaf exhibits fine detail. The strongly dentate margins are well defined. The venation of the leaf is outstanding. The fossil has great color and contrast. It is well centered on the squared block of matrix. This is a very pretty specimen of a fossil oak leaf from the Miocene.
