This is a striking fossil shark tooth. It is an Otodus obliquus tooth from Morocco. This tooth has great enamel and both cusps are intact. The tooth is still encased in a large chunk of natural matrix. The fossil displays beautifully, with the tip of the tooth protruding out of the matrix block. This is a fine example of this Extinct Mackerel shark tooth in matrix.
