Here is an extremely large Silurian crinoid from Morocco. The calyx of the crinoid is spectacular. The individual plates are very distinct and highly ornamented. The long, multi-branching, arms have been prepared in high relief. Many of the small, delicate, pinnules of the arms are displayed. There are also many sections of crinoid stems and other fragments preserved on the same piece of matrix. The fossil has good color and contrast. It is well centered on the large matrix plate. This large crinoid is a beautiful display item.
