This is a very interesting plate of sycamore leaves from the Green River Shale. There are two specimens (one of the specimens is very large) of Platanus wyomingensis on this plate. Both leaves display excellent venation. Both of the specimens exhibit coarsely-toothed margins. The long, stout petioles of the leaves cross. The fossils have great color and contrast. They are well centered on the large plate of matrix. This is a very displayable plate of fossil sycamore leaves.
