This is a very fine specimen of Ginkgo adiantoides from the Paleocene of North Dakota. The general outline of the leaf is very nice. The palmate venation is terrific. The lobed leaf retains an extremely long petiole. The leaf has good color and contrast. The specimen is well centered on a somewhat rounded piece of matrix. This is a very collectable fossil plant.
