This is a fine specimen of Zelkova nervosa (keaki tree) from the Eocene of Utah. The specimen exhibits great venation. The lanceolate leaf displays dentate margins. The leaf retains the short petiole. The specimen has great color and contrast. It is well centered on the rectangular block of matrix. This is a pretty specimen of Zelkova from the Green River Formation.
