This is a very aesthetic plate of Knightia humilis from the Eocene of Wyoming. There are two specimens on the plate. The two fish are side by side and oriented in the same direction. Both fish exhibit fine detail. The eye sockets are nicely displayed. The bone structure is very good. The scale pattern of the fish is quite evident. The fish have great color and contrast. They are almost perfectly centered on the rectangular plate. This is a very displayable plate of Knightia from the Green River Formation.
